Tifa sat on the stairs leading upstairs, her hand holding her chin and her elbow resting on her knee. She sighed quietly to herself, thinking of something she could possibly be doing at the moment. All day was spent doing nothing. She had the day off, so she just spent the day at home, looking after Denzel and Marleen, who were in their bedrooms at the moment. They were probably asleep, they had had a rough day of playing around.

Tifa finally stood and turned to walk up the stairs, she made it to her room but right as she closed the door, she heard the door downstairs open and then a loud noise as if someone had fallen. She stiffened and looked around her room for some sort of weapon to use just in case it was an intruder. But someone shouting her name could be heard and she relaxed. It was only Cloud, but what freaked her out, was that he sounded very...odd. It finally came to her that she should probably go downstairs and see what was going on, so she opened her door and ran down the stairs, almost tripping and falling, but she caught herself. She stood back up and turned to look at Cloud, the sight wasn't pretty.
"Cloud! What happened to you?!"
Her mouth was open wide and her eyes wide with fright. She stood there for a moment before running over to him and crouching beside him.
"It was them."
She said with clenched teeth. It really wasn't a question. She meant Yazoo and Kadaj, and thinking of them made her hand curl into a fist.
"Those idiots."
She nearly whispered.

Tifa watched him carefully, wondering what was going on. When his breathing slowed, she felt a sharp pain fill her stomach. Cloud couldn't die. She needed to do something. But what? It seemed that the question was answered because she saw Cloud lift his hand and ask for help. She hesitated then grabbed his hand, doing her best to help him up.
"What can I do to help?"
She asked, the pain still in her stomach, although it wasn't as strong now. She was worried, hoping Cloud would be alright. She glanced around her, making sure Denzel and Marleen hadn't heard. She didn't need them to worry, they just needed to rest. Her eyes trailed back to Cloud, and she waited for his reply, deciding of things she could do to help. She had a feeling he wouldn't want her to go after the three silver-haired men, so she didn't bother to suggest it. He would probably freak. She didn't blame him. She didn't really enjoy him going out there either. The reason was right in front of her.

Tifa let out a quiet sigh. Running her fingers through her long brown hair. She bit her lip and looked to her feet, thoughts continuing to run through her head. This was bad. Kadaj and the others most certaintly wanted everything to go there way, and it was working. She hoped that Sephiroth wasn't out there, alive, and planning to help the other three. That would be a nightmare. Tifa needed to get their group together to figure this out and try and not let Kadaj win, but it was hard to get a hold of everyone. They had their own lives now, she doubted that they wanted to be on this again.

Tifa quickly walked to the bar, grabbing a cup and filling it with water before handing it to Cloud.
"Those bastards. What exactly do they want now? Their mommy?"
Her teeth clenched together but she breathed deeply, removing the anger in her. She was surprised at Cloud's words. Next time? He sounded as if she were included. But she shook the thought away and moved on to something else.
"Next time. But we can't do this alone, you know. They've gotten stronger, Coud, see what they've done to you? And who knows what's up their sleeve. We need backup."
She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment, thinking, but nothing came to mind. She had no idea how to contact anyone, she didn't have their numbers, she had no idea where they lived. It was so hard to live these days.
