-So many want to know the real story of Final Fantasy VII. Well thanks to me, I researched it and found out about it. So here is the entire story.-

Two years after the events of Final Fantasy VII, the planet was in the early stages of recovering from the devastating attack by a meteor, while the survivors of Midgar had begun to build a new city called Edge on the outskirts of the old metropolis. However, a strange disease called Geostigma, rose.

After his showdown with Sephiroth, Cloud Strife established his own delivery service, the Strife Delivery Service, with the help of Tifa Lockhart who he grew up with. Marlene Wallace -adopted by Barret Wallace- were instructed to their care and also with them is an orphan named Denzel.

Denzel and Cloud were both struck with Geostigma but nobody knew Cloud had it. many others suffered from it like Rufus Shinra.

Cloud is soon attacked by three men whom think Cloud knows where their mother is. The battle is short and Cloud escapes. Hoping to know more about the men, he goes to see Rufus Shinra, the leader of the Shinra Company. Rufus tries to get Cloud to defeat the trio but fails. Later, when Cloud leaves, Kadaj, one of the three men who attacked Cloud, breaks into Rufus's lodge and demands him to tell Kadaj where his mother is, revealing that she, is in fact, the remains of Jenova and is somehow connected to the cause of Geostigma. Kadaj also announces that he and his two brothers, Yazoo and Loz, are planning a new reunion.

Kadaj and his gang soon start collecting the children with the Geostigma (including Denzel). Later they soon capture Marlene after a battle with Tifa and Loz. After knocking Tifa out, Loz took Marlene to the Forgotten City where the other children are. Drinking from the lake, the children become "hypnotized". Cloud comes to save them, but fails and is saved by Vincent Valentine, a "monster" that has taken the form of human.

Vincent explains what the trio is searching and that Sephiroth may return. Cloud soon agrees to return to Edge and fight with Kadaj. Shortly after, the trio get a band of monsters to attack the city of Edge including the dragon called "Bahamut SIN". While Yuffie, Tifa, Cid, Barret, Red XIII, Cait, and Vincent are dealing with Bahamut, Reno and Rude distract Yazoo and Loz. Soon the dragon and monsters are destroyed.

While watching the chaos in a nearby building, Rufus tells Kadaj that he has had their mother all along. Rufus soon stands from his wheelchair and drops the box off the building. Kadaj gets angry and lights some of the building on fire when he's aiming for Rufus. Rufus dives off the building, shooting at Kadaj with his gun, but Kadaj only dives for mother. Rufus cracks the box slightly. This soon leads to the high-speed chase on the highway. Loz, Yazoo, and Kadaj are all on it, being chased by Cloud. While distracting and fighting Cloud, Kadaj has mother and tries to get away.

Cloud soon catches off and they slide off the rest of the unfinished highway and then Kadaj gets away and speeds off to Aerith's old church and the former place to where Cloud lives. There Kadaj sees the crack in the box and lets out and anguish scream. Cloud soon catches up and they soon battle. Kadaj destroys the flower bed and some other parts of the church after letting some of the lifestream out of his hand. Cloud then almost gets squished by a pillar but makes it out. Soon Cloud is healed from his Geostigma by a water that saves anyone with it.

Distracting Cloud with the box, Kadaj soon finds himself with a sword falling to the ground below and a box in his hands. HE is hanging for dear life at the edge of a building with Cloud above him. Kadaj lets go of the box and dives for it once more catching a hold of it. Cloud jumps after him, about ready to attack when he soon sees Sephiroth.

They battle, destroying more of Edge. Cloud gets stabbed in the shoulder but recovers and pulls the sword out, Sephiroth tries pushing it in, but Cloud moves to fast. Cloud separates his sword, The First Tsurugi in the end into its six pieces, and performs a new Limit Break, which destroys Sephiroth at last.

In the end, Cloud lands safely with his sword when Sephiroth shows his one black wing and disappears, Kadaj falling to the ground in pain. He soon manages to stand and tries to get Cloud, only to stumble and fall into Cloud's open arm. Speaking to Cloud, pain in him, Kadaj hears Aerith speaking to him, telling him to rest now. With a lift of his hand, the life stream takes him. After that, Loz and Yazoo arrive, Yazoo shooting Cloud in the back and dropping it because of the materia. When Cloud comes to attack, Loz and Yazoo shoot the materia at Cloud. Soon an explosion erupts and kills Loz and Yazoo and engulfs Cloud.

Soon, surrounded by a white light, Cloud awakens and is in the healing water with all the Geostigma children in it. Everyone is there including Tifa, Red XII, Yuffie, and so on. After helping Denzel heal his Geostigma, Cloud looks to the entrance of the Church he is in and sees Aerith and his old trainer, Zack. Aerith speaks to him and soon disappears with Zack in a white light, leaving him and everyone else. Cloud only smiles, agreeing now that he is not alone any longer.
